Saskatoon, SK, For the first time the Siemens Western Elite StockCar Tour will be making a stop in Medicine Hat, AB. Medicine Hat Speedway’s new 2009 President, Ed Collins, is excited to announce that June 6, 2009 will be the date the club will host the race event. “We are expecting to see an exciting full field of “NASCAR style race cars with the Siemens WEST. The Siemens WEST is a division of race cars that sprung up three years ago from the ashes of the former CASCAR West Series and Sportsman cars. Siemens Transportation Group Inc., it’s 1700 employees and ten transportation subsidiaries, with their head office in Saskatoon, SK, are the title sponsor and partner of the series.
