Title: Conventional vs Coil Over
Post by: racinjason on February 01, 2010, 10:34:06 AM
Anybody have any thoughts on front suspension for a mod? Currently has a camaro clip with conventional springs but clip is a bit rough. Fix it or clip it?

hey Jason. where are you running your mod?
at delaware you can't run coilovers. You can run conventional springs or coil over eliminators and then 1 separate shock on each corner. I suggest reading up on circle track books and reading articles from bob bowles. There is programs out to help you set up the car.

This car would be raced at Varney p/t and maybe for fun elsewhere. I guess my question is fix up the camaro clip because its the least expensive or go to a tube clip? Not lookin to win a championship just some seat.
