Yup,the dark blue 1995 2 door golf.I  got broadsided by an overanxious rookie, going into corner 1 at full speed.Car got airborne and basically speared the dirt mound near the pit entrance head on,at full speed.Brakes dont work worth a crap when the wheels are not  touching the ground.Anyway, hit the dirt mound, car launched straight up and when it came down landed on another car that the overanxious rookie also managed to broadside. The car I landed on,just happened to be my daughter in our second car.I will dig up a picture and post a link on here a bit later.
Anyway,I picked up another 2 door 1995 golf and will be starting to swap everything over asap. The fun never ends ???

No,my new car, which likely would have been quite competetive, took a catastrophic hit on aug 11.I have since just been riding out the rest of the season, which for us varneyites ends this saturday.Starting this sunday I will be stripping and cutting up the "new" car and building a "new, new"car for 2008.I have had zero luck for running any invitationals for the past 3 years, maybe next year.

you building another volkswagen?

was the one that took a hit on aug 11 that dark blue golk you had? or a different one?

I have called JP and sent him an email re the rules for open LM class and the purse and have not received a response.  I can't find this information on Peterborough's website.

Anyone know where I can find this info?

I assume that the thread title has a question mark missing as I don't see any CCS drivers listed as going to autumn colours, so someone is asking that.

that wouldn't really be a proper question now would it?

I was moreso intending the thread title to be addressing the issue of Capital City's drivers at autumn colours representing their track

the question came in the first post

JP has run that track into the ground so badly I don't know how he gets a crowd anymore. Whether it be email or phone message, JP is too busy doing who knows what to answer anyone. I know a few LM guys who want to know what rules they are running by and what tire the track is implementing. Wait too long and they'll just park the car for the off season. Is it too much to ask that rules for the event be posted at the very latest, in August when most tracks are winding down and guys are trying to plan their final event of the season. No wonder Flamboro has taken the title of biggest year end show back. That all said, I'll still be there. Just wish someone with half a brain would get off their A$$ and get that track back from the dead.

i beleive you either have to get it from JP or wait for them to post it on the website...whenever they decide to get around to it.....

Don't hold your breath waiting fo JP to answer an e mail, I sent him 3 within a 2 month period and to this day still no reply .... not a vert good way to run a race track !
