Travis McLean’s Super Stock Debut Cut Short at Sauble Speedway
Unfortunately, Travis McLean did not open his 2017 season as he would have hoped at Sauble Speedway, with his night coming to an end early.

After a solid test session entering the night, McLean went into the opening heat confident of having a solid performance. However, contact on the opening lap resulted in heavy damage to the front end of the racecar, bending several suspension pieces. As a result, McLean was forced to pull off the track early, with his night coming to a premature end.

The team will now focus their efforts towards this Friday, June 30, with hopes of having some better as McLean entered the season “really looking forward to the new challenge of moving up to a higher division,” after having a solid year behind the wheel of his Mini Stock last year.

“I was extremely happy with the progress of our team last year,” he said. “We were able to win races and finished the season with a top-five points finish and most improved driver award.”

McLean Racing are proud to be supported by The Great Canadian Dog Food, Innovative Print, McLean Farms and Revolution Race Products.
