the only reason you will not respond is because i refuse to kneel at the pc alter and fall into line. criminal records, does one forget the past of junior johnson(served time i believe) and Hendricks convictions for fraud etc. oh yeah i forgot they are men so it is only women you hold to this higher standard. get back to me when you wish to have a discussion based on reality.

If they can come up through the ranks like everybody else (on merit rather than on gender), I don't see a problem with it. There's some that have been less than stellar and have come up through less-respectable means, but I don't think it's necessarily right to throw the baby out with the bathwater in a situation like this.

Until you post something a little better thought out you are in violation of the PCoC  (Pinecrest Code of Conduct) and i will not respond to anything you post . You have a 3 day suspension so use the time wisely to contemplate something worthy of my time .

This is priceless... PCoC.... Thanks Pinecrest for the laugh.

i'm all for women doing whatever they choose as long as they are good enough. I'm alittle biased of course, because my daughter races and she plays hockey on a team with guys. I support anything she does like any father should teir child and if i didnt think she was good enough I would tell her she needs to improve for sure.

I was at the truck race (great finish and 35 degreezzzzz.....) and i dont remember how many times (maybe 5 ) that i saw Wallace drive down thru the pits for no reason other that to keep out of trouble. She ran pretty dam good i thought for the track conditions. There were a couple of trucks running i thought, the drivers had no clue.
But I know that she was getting the move over flag shaken at her pretty hard by the flagman a number of times to get out of the leaders way. The flagman was shaking his head because she iggied him for 3 laps once.
Her and the 4 truck almost caused a wreck in front of the leaders one time.
But her dad was her spotter too so who knows.
I probably shouldn't even be commenting on her anyways, because i crashed about a 1/2 dozen times myself on the tracks race simulator.Lol.

Around here, one of my favorite racer years ago was Sharon Zardo.
I wonder what happened to her ?? Lol.
And there was a husband and wife that raced Flamboro years ago in a pair of identical Ford Cougars. She was pretty good too.
And always enjoy watching that girl in the "16" car, from Sunset.
As for Erin Crocker. She can drive a dirt car for sure. And we dont all know about Ray's home situation. I know a few guys that left a wife that got sick of race cars and hearing about racing all the time, for a girl that loves it. Could be the case here. Wife did ok in the end....
You could probably drag up lots of dirt on all the old guy racers and their cheating, thefts and drugs and rumours of being AC/DC or gay.
And there have been plenty of male drivers that have moved up to Nascar and suck too.Lol.

And do you have any pics of Kim Crosby in Danica's outfit?

She was definitely better then some of the guys driving the cup race. She stayed out of trouble in her race, while (for example) David Gilliland was a freaking weapon on Sunday, he hit everything except his crew.

To all of those who spoke kinda words- you have given encouragement to women out there competing in a "male dominate sport" to succeeded! And to all of those who don't think women can succeeded at a "male dominate sport" I think you have given MORE encouragement to succeeded!

Morgie I am sure that women will enjoy all the success in stock car racing in the next 50 years that they have had in the last 50 . I predict that the first woman to win a major stock car championship will happen about the same time the last male driver is neutered .

I think that if a women can drive just as good as any of the guys in the same class then let her race, its cool to see more women get involved in sports that men have dominated for years. Now hockey is diffrent. They can play but not together.

I agree Chris. If they can drive AS good as the male drivers than they should be there, but getting rides because they are women I dont agree with.

I say if they can race, let them race!

Kelly Williams comes to mind? I thought she could race with the best of them and she paid her dues too, from what I'm lead to believe. I was always a big fan of hers and it was CASCAR's loss, when she stopped racing.

Kelly Williams is a perfect example , couldnt win a single thunder car/ challanger feature and ends up with a Cascar ride where she couldnt win .

I am not saying their is no place for women in racing after all someone has to pack the cooler . Just remember Beer on the bottom sandwiches on the top , Thanks Baby .

The thing is now, how many people in CASCAR now haven't won anything in the lower ranks?

I don't know the answer to that question , is there any or many ? Has there ever been someone that couldn't win in lower classes and then moved up to Cascar and started winning , i cant think of any .
