Special Olympics Night At Sunset Speedway

Saturday August 10th was a spectacular night at Sunset Speedway.

The South Simcoe Special Olympics would like to thank Mark Dilley, Steve
Slaughter Sr. and the owners of the track for inviting the 12
Communities of Athlete's in Region 6 to the Special Olympics Day at the
track.

Approximately 400 Athlete's, coaches, volunteers and parents were
excited to meet Stompin Tom Walters and  the other racing drivers and to
get their autographs.

Our Community, South Simcoe Superstars, would also like to thank Steve
Fox from Fox's Bakery and Deli, for sharing the night with us.

Special thanks to Barb Baguley, Mayor of Innisfil and Keith White
Councillor of Ward 1 Essa for supporting our special night.

This report is why SUNSET INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY is so popular. As it helps local groups to raise funds and give each group a great time.  Everyone think that Stompin Tom Walters is s dive. But if you get to know him personally he has the biggest heart of GOLD.  He will help the younger drivers to get the right information for them to use while on the track. Even though some people thinks he is a bad driver, he is just aggressive.
