I'll hopefully be able to spill the beans tonight.  Don't want to throw out names until we're completely sure.  I'll just say there were a bunch of guys interested, but a lot of these guys have family plans once their race season is over.

It's going to be a cool event tho, I guarantee that.

I gave up my ride in the #5 GBS house truck for this weekend.  Instead, I will be reunited with my old baby, as I'll be wheeling Sid McDonald's truck.  That's the only rumour that I can clear for you right now.  ;)

Can someone let me know if they have a spare truck.

I have one driver I am 99% sure I can get.

I have another driver once I know I can get them a decent truck, I will approach them.

Thank You,
Rob

Hey Jimmer.  Should know more by tomorrow I think.  Hope my guy doesn't back out on me, cause it would be a cool event... If I get the go ahead from him, I think it'll start to snowball from there.

Well even if it's not gonna happen, WOW what a great idea it would be. I would compare it to the Cascar event in Cayuga when the cup boys showed up. Standing room only !!
It would be a very unique experience for the fans as well as some exposure for the awsome drivers in our series. But lets not forget about this crazzy 1/4 mile trioval with heavy banking and tons of speed. GOTTA LOVE IT MAN !!! ACTION EVERYWHERE !!!

I heard rumours that possibly a hand full of Nascar Canadian Tire drivers may join our invitational Mini Truck race (The Grand Bend fall Classic) . Hope it is true, so our awsome track and racing series will be further promoted. Anyone who has perched them selves in the stands for a nite of racing has commented on how action packed and competitive these classes really are. Grand Bend Speedway until now has been the best kept racing secret in South western Ontario.  The trucks are half scale but the action is HUGE!!. This is gonna be great!!
All I can say is bring on the big boys and lets get on with it man.
