CRATE ENGINE PROGRAM FROM WEST CARLETON NOW IN HIGH GEAR: NOV 4/06
In an effort to take a lot of the questions out of the cost of the crate engine program, Larry Aslagsen, owner of West Carleton Automotive the official crate engine headquarters for Capital City Speedway, has made that information available to everyone right here on this web site. This means that everyone knows what they are paying, as well as what everyone else is paying, what everything costs and what you get for that. And in an effort to make this program as economical as it can possibly be Larry has come out with what I believe is rock bottom pricing,, and I have asked around. Larry will also make it possible for teams that have the ability to get their crate engine directly from a dealer to do just that, whether it be in a full blown advertising deal that someone might be able to do on their own, or and out right purchase directly from the dealership. I don't think this could have been made anymore racer friendly that what West Carleton Automotive is offering. This introductory cost which I believe is much more than competitive with any of the other shops that are qualified to do this engine, and is for the 2007 racing season only. The crate engine program is the best thing that has happened to Late Model Racing in my opinion and I believe we will see a large increase in this type of cars at our track over the next couple of years.
