IS THE NASCAR CTS DEAL A GO FOR MONTREAL ??

So far every Nascar commercial for the Busch race at Montreal has made no mention of the NASCAR CTS cars running at the same event. They have said the Sports Car series is running but no mention of the CTS cars. If we are running the Montreal event don't you think they should maybe advertise it.

I can understand that when we ran in the past on these road course's, ( Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton) that they were CART events and CASCAR was never mentioned in the race advertising do to the fact that we had nothing to do with CART back then.
 
Does CART own NASCAR, or is NASCAR forgetting that they need to promote the Canadian Series as another racing series that will be at the same event, running under the same sanctioning body- NASCAR.

For the fans that have been asking if we are in deed running the Montreal Event- I can answer you this from watching the advertisements...... I don't really know !!

Watching the busch race on tsn and I just mentioned something similar to my wife.
 It would be nice to see our boys promoted as well.

i'm sure the reason the series is mentioned is that the commerical was in the can before the cts deal was inked with montreal.......remember it took 8 years to set the schedule for the nascar cts deal..........sorry it felt like 8 years it was probably only around 8 months........

I don't understand why TSN isn't promoting the Canadian Tire Series more. They have a division called TSN Events which is supposed to promote grassroots events. One of the assets of TSN Events is NASCAR CANADA. They're televising all the series races, so why not at least mention the upcoming races. All I've seen so far is the Edmonton race advertised, and that was preceding the Cayuga race. The TSN spots with Vic Rauter show a lot of Cup footage along with the CTS. TSN is not alone in this though. The ESPN Busch pre-race coverage focuses mainly on the Cup series instead of the Busch series. I love my Nascar, but I'd like to see these other featured series' get their due.
