But the outside wall didn't want to help bring Carl home to the winners circle.

What a ending to the 3rd race in the chase. Biffle didn't make it 3 in a row but a 3rd is great to keep his chase hopes alive. Gordon was sick all weekend and managed to bring his car home in 4th. Can we say that Kyle's hope of winning the Chase are over? with a 30th place finish.

Only hope chase contenders from 4th to 9th place in the chase is for the top 3 to have problems in the next 7 races and the way they have been running I think it is a battle for who will be 4th place in the chase.

Kyle's chances are definately over now, even if you didn't believe it before. It's definately going to come down between Johnson, Edwards & Biffle - possibly also Gordon & Kenseth. Though I'm sticking with my guns and saying it'll be Johnson.

As far as this past weekend's race, awesome ending! It definately once again ranked in the definate top 5 races of the year. I think the chase is really bringing out the best in everyone :)
