Eric Yorke Finishes Fifth at Sunset Speedway
Eric Yorke would battle hard on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway to finish fifth in the feature.
Yorke started off the night finishing third in the first heat after starting sixth. He would then start fourth in the second heat, finishing second behind Brandon McFerran.
In the feature, Yorke would start 11th in the feature and make his way up to ninth after a first lap caution for Kevin Pickford spinning Kendra Adams.
Once the feature got restarted, Yorke began his climb to the front, running eighth on lap 13. He then moved into seventh on lap 15 with a pass on Lance Foster. Yorke continued his climb to front, moving into sixth on lap 18 with a pass on Steve Belanger. Yorke ran in sixth all the way till the lap 19 for Ben Wolf having problems.
In the final six laps, Yorke would make his way around Ben Melenhorst to finish the feature in fifth spot.
