Luke Gignac Scores Runner-Up in OSCAAR Modified Feature
SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Running upfront all feature long, Luke Gignac scored a runner-up finish in the OSCAAR Modified event at Sauble Speedway.
Gignac was fast from the start of the night, winning his first qualifier, followed by a runner-up finish in the second heat.
Come feature time, he made his way to the front immediately and would stalk Gary Elliott for the lead through the event, but was unable to find a way by, ultimately crossing the finish line with a second-place finish. It marks his fourth straight top-six finish since returning to the seat of the No. 99 Modified.
The next race for the OSCAAR Modifieds is at Flamboro Speedway on August 25.
