Not sure how you figure a 16V 4 and a 16V 8 are the same thing... 16V's in these terms mean a 4-valve head, which is easier to express as 16V.

sarcasm, i forgot to add  ;)

i agree it would be nice to see more cars out with the streetstocks, but think saftey too,you take your 16v 2500 pound car out with a 3300 pound streetstock, you askin for trouble, you'll get hit like you've never been hit before,
varney needs to make some changes for sure, everyone has ideas, but there only to try an make there class faster, how about some ideas to bring the cars back to varney
your street stock class is hit an miss every season, last year was a joke,2 cars showed up an had all the rules changed, sayin they will bring cars, where are the cars? all because they went to the beach an had there asses handed to them!
thunders, lol, well lets just say varney has no thunder cars any more, need some rule changes there, let them run sticks? 8 inch recaps? bring the cars back!!!!!!
hell kawartha just changed the rules lettin them run front load bolts now, every one is runnin stick now but flammy an you's!

solution:Make the 16v weigh 2700 lbs, lighten the street stocks to 3000lbs.My 12v 240 weighs 2650 lbs, no reason a 16v cant weigh the same or more

solution- figure out how to allow 16v and v-6.

your set on this 16v car,you already have a class, dont wreck it by bringing them in,like i said before,FIGURE OUT A WAY TO BRING CARS BACK TO VARNEY,NOT JUST MAKE YOUR CLASS FASTER!
ya varney had a v-6 class it was called women on wheels, leave it alone
bringback cars to varney, dont try an create another joke of a class
you bring 16v cars to varney,2 years tops you wont have a stock 4 class left an forget about a v-6 class it will never happen

For the record, I have 2 12v 240sx and I have no intention of building or racing a 16v. ALso, since one of my cars was consistently the fastest mini at Varney, I an very comfortable with the rules as they are.
I was going to type a big long reply to your inane comments but have decided to not waste 5 minutes that I cannot get back. There may be some news regarding Varney in the near future, so I will not comment further until I have some concrete facts.

Women on wheels was inline 6cyl rear wheel drive. What's the car count in mosposts 6cyl or less class? Do they allow 16v? I raced when they started the 4cyl and then streetstocks and loved both classes, 20-30 cars each class every week.

when you raced streetstock's at varney, that class was runnin long before you came, they also had the 305 duke class, for ROOKIES
varney has at best 6 street stocks everyweek,an 15-18 stock 4's tops,

if your "consistently the fastest mini stock at varney" as you self proclaim to be,,why dont you HOLD THE MINI STOCK TRACK RECORD?
why is only 1 of your cars consistently "the fastest mini stock at varney"
an if you content with the mini stock rules at varney, why dont you FOLLOW  them??

just my thoughts and i love varney...but varneys first mistake this year was not having that invitational at the start of the season like every year...alot of disappointed drivers that then raced elsewhere and varney wasnt even on their minds after that...
too many classes for the number of area racers, they need to settle on 3 regular classes...minis, thunders or street stocks and the modifieds...i think the modifieds have always been special to varney and they got alot of looks at flammy , i could still see them expanding under the right situation...love the trains but having them so often could be hurting them and their attractiveness ???...to be honest varney has a great payoff...50 bucks tow money???...i loved the sunday afternoon shows in the 80's myself ;>...but i sure hope they get things turned around...
flammy had no problem with car counts, minis were down to 24 from 40 a few years ago...thunders in the 20's...latemodels 15 to 17 usually...alot of latemodels leaving next year if all the rumours are true...
