Why oh why did they have to make the last race an afternoon one? Here I am getting all excited about the Chaos finale, and I just realized I wouldn't be able to go because of work. $:-\$

One of you guys must have a fan somewhere that has a cam. You make sure that goes up on youtube OK?

Frankly the way you guys are talking, one Friday night option would be a nightly match race at intermission. Just a one on one thing for fun, and as a teaser for the main events that happen at the enduros. One week Snot takes on Red Baron...next week its Wednesday and Bush Bomb...that sort of thing. (2 cars could just use the front straightway, thereby allowing it to work for an intermission.)

Just a thought.

Delaware should have someone build 2 Chaos cars with good cages in them. They can use them for weekly grudge matches between drivers from the regular Friday night classes that have, " Issues " to settle.

The idea has been floated already. Maybe someday.

I keep hoping some day the concept of the match race will someday be revived. They did that one on one thing for LMs a couple of years back, but it lacked the heat that is necessary...in fact when the two guys finally faced each other that had a history, they actually downplayed it.

Yep, they used to do the top 6 LM finishers from last week straight up for 6 laps to start the show, then later they started going with the top 10 as an Australian Pursuit. Then it became a "sponsored" race and they'd do it where each division got to do x amount of them for the season...so it was trucks one week, SS next, LMs after that etc.

Then it just stopped.

Still IMO the best way to start the show, by bringing out the big guns first. I suppose if someone would sponsor it, they'd probably do it again.
