NO tow is the difference between front and back of front tires, not measured from side to side.

Brad

This post is in no way meant to be cheeky or sarcastic.

I was at the track Saturday night but my car wasn't working so I did some lawn chair time.

I watched a few things which you never get to see (like how that new crx is even allowed to pass tech????). If you want to see what you need to do to set up your car look at that one and back it off about 300%.

What I did notice about your car is you have NO front right camber. Your front right tire folds over like a 4 fun car. If you hold a level line on your bottom of tire there  should be a space at the top of at least 1 1/2". You are riding on the outside of your tire which will create a push. I would say first thing to do would be get that camber in there. Your car is a chrysler product so I think you have movement in your shock which you can adjust along with drilling out the wholes at the top of your shock tower.

I also noticed that your car rolls over in the corner (the body weight). You need to think about getting your front right bigger and stiffer and make your rear left smaller.

Things you will need to look at:
- camber setting
- caster setting
- toe setting (1/4" should be good)
- tire pressure setting
- shock/spring

You should go to a place like Factory Direct and bought a laser temp gauge and you use that to check temp of tires after race. It should be close on the outside, centre and inside of tire. If not your tire is not laying flat on the track. You want as much tire surface on the track that you can get. The one I bought there was $30 (I know of people that bought the same one for $140). At the same time at least get yourself a good tire for the front right.

Lastly take up the offers of anybody that is willing to help but make sure you are not doing one of those blind leading the blind things. I have had a lot of bad advice from people that ran at the back of the pack every week. I would be taking up Junior on his offer and in fact if he wants to come over to my pit and fill my ear I would be up for that.

Good luck and if you need to borrow tow bars I have them at the track, if you would like to borrow the temp gauge I have it at the track. I am working on my engine this week but if I have it done and am out there on Wednesday drop by my pit and we can set or check out a few of those things.
