Misunderstanding Bites Wally Wilson at Kawartha Speedway
En route to putting together a decent run at Kawartha Speedway, a misunderstanding would prove costly for Wally Wilson on Friday night.

Wilson started off the night solidly, placing sixth in his only heat on the night.

Starting near the back for the feature, Wilson was set to begin making up ground, when the black flag was given to him by officials, ending his night early. As it turned out, the 69x was leaking fluid but a miscommunication resulted in Wilson’s No. 69 getting the flag instead. As a result, he would score his second DNF of the year with a 17th-place finish.

The OSCAAR Modifieds will be back in action at Jukasa Motor Speedway on June 16 alongside the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series and NASCAR Pinty’s Series. Wilson will be in action before then, though, taking part in the Outlaw Midget event this coming weekend – June 9 – at Sunset Speedway.

Wilson’s efforts are supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, and Wix Filters. Wally Wilson Racing is a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy..
