I hope Gibbons Motorsports is able to carry on without too much hardship from this unfortunate circumstance. There is a way to disable the electronic ignition system on todays vehicles to prevent the engine from being started . When I did the showcar program for the UAP/NAPA team several years ago, I was directed to make sure the appropiate chip was removed anytime I was out of eyesight of the truck .
