From what i heard is the CT got a second trailer like the one with all the tv's and playstations and that was what got stolen i believe. The second one was to go on the road across canada promoting the tour. This is just what i heard.

surprised they didn't have agps locator to find it. That saved the Kubota hauler a few years back.

How long before teams stop going to Quebec because they are afraid that their stuff will get stolen?

I wish I could say I was surprised , but I am not.  I hope Gibbons Motorsports is able to carry on without too much hardship from this unfortunate circumstance. There is a way to disable the electronic ignition system on todays vehicles to prevent the engine from being started . When I did the showcar program for the UAP/NAPA team several years ago, I was directed to make sure the appropiate chip was removed anytime I was out of eyesight of the truck .

Yes as the police there treat everything like it was a stoled bike. Quebec is know for a lot of telephone scams as well.  That have cheated people out of millions of dollars and they hide there as they know the police don't do anything.

it seems every year you hear stories of guys having their stuff stolen in quebec

is it really THAT bad down there, theft-wise?
