Here is something Joe posted on the website for any of you late model drivers that were inquiring as to the forum for the 150 lapper this coming Sunday at sauble Speedway.
2007 Sauble Speedway Late Model Rules for the:
MacDonnell Fuels 75 - Sunday July 1st/07 and the TIM-BR Mart Wiarton 75 -Sunday Aug 5th/07
No provisional's of any kind - you must qualify.
- All late models will compete on Hoosier Tires #980 only. 8” or 10” Rims are allowed
All cars will start as a minimum weight of 2,900 lbs. - plus weight penalties for each of the following:
- 40 lbs. for Coil Overs
- 40 lbs. for Wide 5
- 10 lbs. for strut clip
- 10 lbs. for Aluminum axle Tube
- 100 lbs. for engines over 10 to 1. --- No engine to exceed 10.5 to 1
All Cars must not exceed 56% left side weight, or 50% rear weight.
Sauble Speedway reserves the right to adjust weight penalties up or down to ensure a competitive and fair race. All Teams should have access on race day to additional weight.
Sponsors decal's must be displayed to win contingency sponsor awards.
Wix Filter, Wiseco Piston, Five Star Stock Car Bodies, Holley, - we will supply these on Race Day.
Drivers that do not take a Time Trial Time will start scratch in their heat.
Sauble Speedway Race Day Schedule
Pit Gate Opens at 1:00pm
Tech from 1:15 to 2:15
Practice 2:15 till 4:00pm
Mandatory Drivers Meeting: 4:15
Time Trial: 5:00pm
Racing at 7:00 pm
