Blk I would have to agree I am not a fan of caution laps but what you must under stand is when cars leave the track to go into a public hot pit area to keep it safe the speedway must give some time if not you will have racers doing a 100 trying to get back out these are the policy's of yesterday, With the new race track we now have pit road which means no car will leave the race track and return unless the go down pit road.
We try to work in a three hour window and did all but three times last year, so I am sure that with all your travelling around to speedways you know how hard this is to do when I track has more than 45 cars, I can assure you that we will have the fast run show around for the number of cars we expect.
Thank you and I do hope to see you at Sunset.
Marry Xmas
Mark

Dave, I will be happy to treat you to an evening at Sunset, I really think you will be surprised at the change, not just the track but the atmosphere as well, then you will have two tracks to love......
;D ;D ;D I will even buy ya fries and gravy Dave''LOL... ;D ;D ;D
Thanks for the offers guys.. You both are very nice folks and valued friends to this guy.. But that being said I'll have to politely decline.. You see I've already seen my share of racing at Sunset, hence that equates to more parade laps than one man should be legally allowed to digest!! ;D ;D ;D

Still sour about Sunset Dave?  Nothing about that track is the same anymore, so I dont know what there is to hate?  If your the last one to leave Barrie, please turn out the lights!   hehe.

Apparently they go out on there own when the crowd count is low Charlie  :D :D

For all those who did not see any pictures of the NEW SUNSET SPEEDWAY.   Go to www.sunsetspeedway.ca    Lots of them there and some video showing the improvements.    Great job done on the updated photos and videos.  Thank you to all who are taking part in the updates.
