« on: August 28, 2007, 08:17:59 PM »
hey we should get sunset and barrie together and have an 8 valve night and a 12 valve night! would be interesting to have the 8's run with the other 8's and the 12's all running against each other as well. just a thought!!!

lol Thayne yes your car is an 8 Valve the Honda's are 12 or can be 8. The twelve valve rule is what caused a big uproar years ago. The rules started as 8 valve engines only then when the Burrows showed up they changed the rule so they didn't have to change there heads.

Hahaha Thayne "I don't know how many valves I have". That's pretty funny. I especially liked how you told me about the 2.02 SBC valves you installed in your head... big cheater. :)

I think a Mustang only invitational would be verrrrry interesting... That's how most tracks do it in the States, they don't run FWD and RWD 4 cylinders together... at least that's what I heard.

Just a few thoughts from the sunset side, we have very few 8 valves and no 12 valve hondas so its pretty pointless, also there was a 12v at barrie before the burrows, the #49 Nissan 240 of Woodward, it had been there a minimum a year before the burrows.

well there are no 16 valves allowed at barrie yet! i think they may be introduced next year in the "A" division! but if they are allowed i feel that the mustangs will all be exclusively for the charger division or they would have to allow more engine mods for them as they would need to catch up!

the first 12 valve at barrie speedway was Ian Harmer who had an 85 Honda! Then came tremblay in a Ford probe!
