Best Fans, Best Car Counts
« on: September 02, 2007, 09:29:47 AM »
Another great night of racing at Sunset, with the stands being packed andthe best car count around. The fans were treated to the best racing around the area. There was your regular nights racing that was excellent with a little bumping and grinding, along with tight and close racing. now that the end of the season is winding down everyone is out to get points, thus making it a Lot more exciting. The features were close and some were won on the last lap, making the crowd rise up as the checkered flag was about to fly. It is only going to get more exciting as there are only a few night left to see you there. The food is the best it ever has been.

HEY Evan,I was down in the pits most of the night but i can tell you that Stompin Tom won the late model feature with Chris Morrow glued to his bumper,a few more laps and it might of ended differently.Quick Vic Parsons was real fast but i think he developed some mechanical problems and retired. Thunder was won by Ernie Fumerton with lots of fireworks during a mid race wreck.Ricky Walt got out of his car near turn one and  tried to get at and tear a strip off John Carlise, the points leader.Carlise returned to the pits and loaded his car.Lots and lots of fireworks and wrecks in all classes. Seemed overly tense in all classes for whatever reason, possibly everone jockying for all the points they can muster as it is getting close to season end.

I thought it was odd I didn;t see Ricky at Barrie last ngiht after the races...he usually stops in and says hey...i guesse he was still severely pissed off.,

Hey Ricki did show up to Barrie after Sunsets night ended. I saw the car and it is definitley in rough shape.  Frame is bent in the front end.
