I am surprised our seniors even get that!

One other note about Sauble. I noticed that they only discount the Senior admission by a meager $1 from the regular ticket price while most other tracks I have been to offer a Seniors discount of $4-5.

Probably the worst run show I have been to this season. So many delays for everything from a couple of Thunder Cars locked together to a mini-concert and autograph session before the Late Model feature (which was the first feature and finally started about 10:10 pm, taking over an hour and 40 minutes to run according to an earlier post).

Tim Ellis started on the pole and led every lap for the second time in a row this season. Would rather see a twin 50's format and at least have the top runners have to pass some cars. Field was filled out with a number of Limited Late Models who really should not be running with the Late Models; but otherwise you would have only 16-18 cars in the field I guess. Drivers like Kirk Hooker, Steve Tiemersma, Dan Delisle and Robbie Thompson no longer interested in running at Sauble it appears unless the prize money increases.

Next time have the autograph session before the show at 6:30 pm and cut down on the divsions or is Sauble hurting that badly for back gate numbers that they have to have 4 divisions on a special show.

When is Sauble (and other asphalt tracks) going to figure out that they should aim for a 10-10:30 pm finish time. With Sauble for a regular division show it should be 9:00-9:30 pm based on how few cars they have in their classes!

Can-Am Midget feature ended about 12:30 am and there was still a Thunder and Mini-Stock feature to run when I left.

I wonder what time we would have been out of there at if they had not "changed the order" from a normal night as announcer Jim Irvine pointed out. On a "normal" night the Late Models run their feature last!

Are teh names of the drivers listed anywhere? I'm looking a the Sauble site and don't see a results section. I'd assume the 52 was Sheridan. Was 10 Kennedy? Any other Del guys that we know of?

Oh Before anyone thinks any different, I am in no way "attached" to Sauble Speedway other than the fact that my son races there a couple times of year and I happen to be able to catch the odd race there on a rare night off!

Okay friends I now have the complete official results for last night feature finish, here I go
2,72, 36,52,82, 4, 10,48,92,9,97,3,19,5,1,7,23,76,18,91,99,106.7,35,8,79,57

CONGRATS once again to the #2 Tim Ellis and the 2 crew on a great race, and also to each and every driver, team, crew and all the fans that were there last night to see the race.

It's just such a shame that track can't be that "busy" regularly, but won't open that can of worms!!!!!

#10 was involved in caution #4 on the restart with #82, #9, #10, #52 and the #107.6. They just got all bunched up and they got together on the restart a couple of the cars left the track but were all able to return before the green flag dropped.  That is the only caution I have that the #10 was actually involved in.

#10, I believed finished the race however looked like alot of cosmetic work to be done this week.  I only took the top 5 for the feature now in # 10 heat #1 they finished 2nd behind the #72, and in their second heat I have #10 finishing in 3rd just behind #52 and #72.  #10 was looking very strong, ran an awesome line but I believe got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time in the feature, but all in all a good showing.
Hope this answers your questions.
