As for the fuel injector cleaner there is the possibility if it was on sale you just missed the rush and they just hadn't had the chance to stock the shelf yet. Could have ran out just before you got to that shelf. I don't know the store but just another opinion.

If push comes to shove, write the sponsors thanking them for supporting Canadian racing...

Buy CT stuff online and it is faster and you are supporting the site. If you can't find a special in the store you can get them online.

i see your point! The Subway in Stayner is quite slow. But any other one I go to has plenty of people working! AS far as Canadian Tire. It's going to depend on how big of a store it is and where it is located! The more popular the locaton, the more staff and the more things in the flyer they will have in stock! if you read the fine print in the flyer it will say "at participating locations" so some of the things may not be a huge hit in smaller locations so why get them if they won't sell.....but i definately see where you are going with this!

Thurday afternoon I was in a restaurant having a meal and the tv was tuned to TSN showing the cayuga subway 200. That made me think of the day before when I waited over 30 minutes to get a sub at our local little Subway in a mac's. Supper time and one lone kid working. Service is never that good and if they drive all their customers to Tim's they'll blame the opening of Tim's for their demise.
Then there's canadian tire.  Went to the Morrisburg store for 3 items in the flyer. Got 1 of them. One I didn't get was their standard everyday fuel injector cleaner. Actually I thought I had it but realized as I was checking out I had stabilizer. The girl suspended my transaction and I went back to look for the injector cleaner but found an empty shelf. When I got back to the cash I had to wait in line behind everybody that was originally behind me. Long line but only one cash and she was customer service so turned from cash to do a refund. She called on the intercom several times for cash help but nobody showed up to help her.
This kind of service is what turns me to another supplier and it hurt if it's a race sponsor. Our Canadian tire in Kemptville has a bad reputation for service and stock availability and I expect they will be suffering when the TSC hardware opens across the road from them.
