I liked the latest press release him making a big deal about should I go to race in the Nationwide or NCATS.

Part of the release

Andrew was facing a dilemma, having to choose between the conclusion of his championship and the opportunity to get his certification to race on Superspeedways.
In front of such a complex and heart-breaking choice, his sponsors Tide and Wal-Mart encouraged Andrew to favour the Kansas route this weekend. To obtain his Superspeedway certification.

They must think we are stupid. Who's the sponsors on his car in the Nationwide race? Wal-mart & Tide. Duh they are hoping to get more exposure in the US as both companies are from the US. Sorry to say I'm not a fan of Rangers and don't believe what he says. He seems to be a cry baby in the releases and thinks we are fools in the latest release heart-breaking choice? Please don't take us for idiots. Come out and say it like it is and people will like you more.

I love when our Canadian drivers get a shot at the big leagues but be honest about it.

All of what happened last week is no big deal anyways even if he would have won he would have not been at the last race. I don't feel bad about what happened last to Ranger but I do feel for Gibbons as he supported CASCAR/NCATS and he gets kick in the face. Make sure you say hi to Peter and thank him for the great racing over the years.

Alright I will answer this then we are moving onto something else before we get warned.

I said Midgets as most people are when comparing them to Gibbons size.
I said 2 Guys and Ranger because that is what we saw and that can be backed up by Morgie who was there.
The word Attack was used to describe what went on inside that Trailer as they knew Gibbons was alone, getting out of his suit.

Was it a case of 2 of them trying to hold Gibbons so Ranger could throw a punch...not likely, but Ranger went there with intent and that is why his 2 Crewmen followed.
Protection is needed if your going to try and take Gibbons on, and maybe they should have considered taking the whole Team along.

The Ferris Wheel and Cotton Candy could be found in Tech Lane through out the weekend. They had a gauge setup to see if you were tall enough to ride the rides, and they had a guy guessing the cars weight which was followed up by actually weighting the car.
There were lot's of Clowns and even some Monkeys in the ring as well.

Good night Mr. Ace

Sorry, I actually cannot back that up, I am not sure how many crew members went down there.
not enough

HAHAAHAHAHAH man that is classic!

Bar:   Andrew Ranger is laughing at your childish comments all the way to Kansas while
Peter Gibbons is wondering what ever happened to his racing carear

I think B.A.R. and anyone else who can't stand Andrew Ranger, will be busting a gut laughing when he smacks the wall.

Sorry about the language... I know better !!

Check out the video on this page.
Here is what you will see..... Restart- Ranger beats Gibbons into turn 1, Donny follows on behind Ranger and takes 2nd coming out of 2, Gibbons powers out of 2 on the high side and passes Donny by running the car in deep on the high side going into three, Ranger slows up and Gibbons hard on the brakes just barely taps Ranger, Ranger goes up the race track and Gibbons follows threw on the bottom.

Its just good clean racing and has been done that way a billion times by everyone that is racing hard, but when the boy cry's the blue's- NASCAR is right their with the Kleenex !!

I guess by now you have all heard that NASCAR, in its continuation of striving to be the leader in world COC Violation - Watch The Language, has fined Gibbons Crew Chief and lead Mechanic for verbal abuse after Gibbons received the black flag with 2 to go.

The Video is out for all to see, and it is a flat out B.S. deal by NASCAR to call Gibbons for ruff driving. I have seen harder hits by push trucks at a Super Modified Race !!!

Anyways, it just goes to show you all that what I told you, is money in the Bank.
NASCAR will kiss Rangers ass over all circumstances, and protecting him is NASCAR's way of keeping it fair.

To the Morgie's and the Ace's, and the Auto's that felt this was not an issue of protecting the little french bastard...guess what- YOUR WRONG !!

For fans that are going to the Kawartha Race, please do me a big favour and wear a CASCAR tee shirt. If you don't have one- wear a NASCAR tee shirt but add the word SUCKS underneath the NASCAR logo !!

If anyone thinks these idiots are going to survive racing up here, I have a MinnyStock that could sit on the pole at Daytona... I will sell you.... cheap...it's Nascar legal and #27 !!

Was Peter a lap down when this happened?

I believe he was racing for the lead.  At least this is the way I understand this thread.

According to the results page on NASCAR.com 22fan it was Bryan Cathcart running the 71 car at Riverside.  And according to the writeup Micks is renting the car from Cathcart this weekend due to his problems at Riverside.

Thanks.  I found the info shortly after I posted.

But still. It's good to see one of my designs on the track still. :)

ps.  Judging from the video, it was a racing deal.

Remeber back in the CASCAR days when Gibbons and other that had big time sponsors could do stuff like that and nothing was said and as soon as a non sponsor car did that they got penalized for it.

I guess as the saying goes what goes around comes around.

Note sure who was at fault here as couldn't see it clearly on the yiutube video.
