Title: St. Eustache Predictions
Post by: blkflagagain on June 30, 2008, 08:11:25 AM
As the Nascar series rolls out of Barrie and heads for Quebec I thought I'd give a prediction for the top 3 in the coming race and give you guys a chance to do so as well. I'll take Ranger for the win in his home province with Gibbons for 2nd and Tagliani for 3rd. Anyone else???

Isn't it funny how good Derek Lynch is doing ever since Jr setup his car last year. The guy is a genius.

Ya Lynch looked quick at Barrie thats for sure. Was running second in the race until being passed by Steckly and Kennington late in the race. Didnt know he had Junior set up the car though, that's quite interesting. Lynch was 10th quickest in qualifying but in practice to me looked to have one of the quicker cars as well. Tagliani, impressed me for his ability to keep the car clean in the first time seeing the Barrie track. Gibbons came from 3 laps down to find himself 3rd after a string of lucky dogs put him back on the lead lap. Steckly, looks to be a bullet this year and also could contend at St. Eustache.

Is there any way you can get the press releases and the video postings to not show up on the main page, and thereby stop everything from getting bumped off the main page?

1. Kennington
2. Fitzpatrick
3. Hathaway

Yes that's right I'm taking 3 to finish 3rd.  Remember reading either on NASCAR.com page or  somewhere online which had Jason well up in the practice times of the time that actually had to practice at St. Eustache.

I think it may be a little to early for fitzpatrick to be on the podium--might take a little bit to find all the horsepower in his changeover to dodge. Just a thought:)

Well we got 4 or 5 sets of predictions in, but I think we need more feedback!!! Bit suprised no one has went along with my line of thinking and take the home province drivers (Ranger & Tagliani ) in there top 3 podium finishers. I didnt take Micks though, and hes usually very good at St. Eustache, so it should be interesting to see who does well this week in their picks!!! So cmon people step up to the plate!!!!LOL

I'm going to have to say Andrew 1'st and Alex right behind him in 2'nd, with a toss up between JR, DJ or DTJ for 3'rd.

See ya in St. Moustache! ;)
