Gordon passed him clean then a yellow came out

Where did you see this Evan??
If you watch the replays they had, Ambrose goes out of the camera shot leading Gordon . (note the rear of his car) In the next shot coming out , Gordon is leading and note the rear of Ambrose's' car. Ambrose was just returning the punt. You'll also see the caution just start to fly as Ambrose sets to hit him. You don't see the front of Gordon's car drop, there was no way Gordon was slowing or on the brakes. He was still trying to speed up after punting Amrose. Gordon got what he deserved and couldn't take it. Nascar should have red flagged the race and towed is sorry a** off the track. He acted like the open wheeled Prima Dona wanna be he is.
Pilgrim is the one who lost out in this. He should of had a shot at Ambrose but Nascar let him down.

Nascar wanted this to happen as they could have red flagged the race and got Gordon off the track. But the fans love this stuff and Nascar knows this and they also knew they could fine him afterwards so everyone is happy maybe not Gordon or Ambrose. Harvick is the Happiest of all he got the win.

Eveyone stayed back on the restart as they knew what was going to happen and the other drivers didn't want to be involved in it.

Nascar was one of the evils in this and Ambrose should also have a beef with Nascar as they let him down and cost him the win maybe. Gordon felt he was right and Nascar didn't see it that way but they did nothing but throw the Black Flag at Gordon. What did they think he was waiting for when he lined up behind Ambrose.

Simple remember the school days a bully would say see you after school. He was there waiting for you when the bell rang. What you thought he was going to ask you to go and play at the arcade with him.

I have to say Nascar is the one at fault here for what happened, they know what R Gordon is like but they looked the other way and let it happen.

why isn't more being made of Harvick spinning out Scott and Ron either? But on this oversize go kart track, I guess we expected it so the usual rules no longer applied.

cro you are right in the fact nascar made two bad calls, the first not penalizing ambrose and the second not enforcing their decision to move gordon back. now as i understand no more three lap rule you must answer the black right away and second the Field is not frozen at time of caution it is frozen at the last scoring loop, unless it is the last lap of a race. i also believe that ambrose punt on gordon was under caution. proper call there would have been a stop n go and gordon should line up where he blended with the Field after he was spun which would have been 13 or 14th. the punting is not the point here the problem was with gordon's disdain for nascar rules and procedure, even if it is a bad call, and i am not auguring that point, you must follow the protocol. i seem to remember a bad call in 1995 wrt a phantom lug not in the 3 car, richmond i beleive, that cost dale sr the 8th championship, which still boils my blood to this day, nascar blow a call and did not give dale sr his position back,ps the missing lug nut was on the car just a different colour.
