This Cayuga event still not sold on it.This site shows the poster very nice but still makes you wonder first on web site only thing it says is free pony rides and entertainment. No where does it say what entertainment.Would you not think that your web site would show what groups are playing etc.As for prices nothing is shown and with approx 2 weeks before the event how would a fan not from the area know the addmission prices. As for race times also nothing shown. This track on there site says they are planning an Aug 1st event also.Only mention NASCAR stars with no info. Also all seats are shown as general addmission with no reserved seatsI would be very surprised if they drew a big crowd for these events especially if their web site shows nothing the race fan needs to no (times for racing and lap structure) and what classes sure they show ISMA & Vintage Mods on Sunday July 12th as for other groups they show nothing yet(as for AVSS schelude they show Cayuga on the Sat. July 11th).Do not know who does their website but if they expect big crowds this site will not help the race fan to show up as I said it shows nothing and this has been this way since the first of the year when the phantom schelude came out.

not to worry, the avss racers and the avss website will be the last to know tommy.  As for the age of the fan i guess that would be about the age line for when delaware stopped running supers on a regular basis.  Gotta love the speed and no mirrors in them either.

I was told that Cayuga was still working on adding races for Saturday, July 11. Wasn't told who the sanctioning bodies might be. Maybe AVSS is still a possibility. I'm still awaiting more details.

It's interesting that places like Toledo and Berlin can have ISMA and AVSS (and in Berlin's case a tri-sanctioned midget show too) racing on the same night, charge $20-$25 for a ticket, and make a profit...

Shadow: I think the London area has a greater fan base of old super modified fans. And when I say old, it was a very gray crowd last Sept at Delaware, meaning a lot got in for the $25.00 senior rate rather than the $39.00 adult. As far as tracks go, Delaware is just a nicer facility as far as esthetics go.
I don't see a seniors rate on the Cayuga poster. This might be their downfall.

Well you know its kinda funny. Delaware charged 39 for an isma ticket, and filled the place. Did it a second time...filled the place.

So apparently that kind of money is not too much. If it was, no one would go.

Its not like anyone is holding a gun to anyone's head and making them come to the races. You always have a friday or saturday regular program somewhere that's usually reasonable.

Just being the Devils Advocate here. High end motorsports is expensive. Those ISMA shows cost $$$ to host...especailly to bring them across the border.

The website only mentions the two race series, That way too much money unless you dig the concerts

It would be nice if somebody would clarify what is going on with the previously scheduled Saturday AVSS show.  I am guessing it isn't running, looking at the flyer, but who knows...

If it's $45.00, then they'll be even more expensive then Delaware which is hard to imagine. ISMA is great but 15 vintage mods as the support group putt putting around that big track just won't cut it anymore.

Cant really make out very much, but I can sure see the prices....$100.00 I would presume is camping and weekend racing ...$75.00 for weekend race pass, and $45.00 for each days show. Probably a good deal if you're into concerts, but pretty pricey for the race only fan.
