Top 5 finish for GCR #67 Mustang
Toronto, ON, Aug 22nd, 2011........JR Fitzpatrick battled his way to a 5th place finish in Montreal on Saturday in the NAPA Auto Parts 200. JR started 17th quickly made his way through the pack and by the 18th lap was sitting in 11th place. By lap 32 JR had made it into 3rd place but an unfortunate electrical failure late into the race put him back in 29th spot and a lap down on lap 50. With a fast car and some aggressive driving JR battled back to 9th place with three laps to go and on the final lap was able to advance to 5th place and his best finish yet in the GCR #67 Ford Mustang.
