Nascar 329, wasn't that a great show? Maybe somebody will learn , not to be show pushy at any track. Pay back is what some people deserve and we "ALL saw it live, not an act .....
All in ALL it was even better than last year, great crowd, lots of cars.     A "BIG THANKYOU " gose out to all the staff and volunteers for their help and support.  Just maybe we will see a rematch next year LORD willing. #33 &  #40?????????/

Worth the admission price. Haven't heard anyone complaining about how much they paid. It was a double feature of Racing and amateur fighting.

Thought it was a great show of both racing and wrestlin lol, the only thing I kinda wonder about though, should a person really stand up on the wall in the pits givin the big tough guy speech when he fought the whole fight with a helmet on?? ??? I mean, great tilt, but how can you lose with the giant space helmet on?? lol

Overall though, awesome show again this year, came from Angus for it and preying it ain't my last!!! As a military member who is probably posted next spring, we don't get a whole lot of say when and where we go!  Crossing my fingers it ain't out of province so I can keep comin back to this awesome event.  Well done yet again to Peterborough Speedway, and thanks to all drivers and crews for another great year of racin!!

The Fan!  :)

I'm a stock car racing nut and Autumn Colours is something I can't wait for every year....and what we saw was why....holly crap lol. I went all 3 days and was sore for sitting all that time but can say I saw it all again. This was about my 10th year or so in a row I think. The features truly are the hilite of the racing season and I think I see the best local racing the province has (biased of course) at Sunset every Saturday. Those races with most having 25+ cars are just outta this world. I commented to my sweetheart, who enjoys this with me, that these drivers are warriors going thru what they do during these races...you are a survivor just finishing those things. Thanks to the track and it's staff for hosting this wonderful event and to the drivers for making this the most anticipated event of the year.

Why don't you take on a 300 lbs lose cannon, with or without a helmet on, then you can answer that question yourself.

Beatty went over to the car to ask him how he liked it. If you notice he didn't take off the Hans device either, so maybe that was to help in out too? It was Archbald who came out swinging, and was all to happy to grab on to the helmet, despite Beatty's offer to take it off.

If you listened to the speech, Donny took credit for dumping Archbault like the does to everyone about every week, not for punching him out. Fight or no fight the same speech could be made.

All ethics aside, the guy doesn't seem to get it, and was asking all year for what Beatty gave him. Its funny how Archbald thinks he has to come out swinging for getting wrecked, had others done that same he'd have been punched about every race of his life. He can throw around his weight, I'm sure someone smaller would've been tuned up long ago, so EVEN just EVEN Beatty kept his helmet on by choice (which he didn't), so what?

I knew I could count on you for your most often negative 2 cents lol.  Perhaps you should sometimes read more, or less in to posts, and figure out which time to do what.
I go to Sunset every week, I know what happened was well deserved and thought it was a long time coming for sure, and had no probs with it all.  I was, in fact, making light of the comments to the effect of " I stood up to that chicken## and I taught him a lesson and I fought him", my point my good Sir was that I found it quite hilarious to say you fought and taught anyone a lesson, with the giant helmet on, rendering your opponents punches rather useless lol.
I did see it all happen my good sir, and could care less who started what or when, I thought it funny, however I thought the big speech funnier! :P

And btw, I'm a 270 lb dumb army guy, I don't think my chances are as bad as perhaps you do, however, I take no interest in partaking in the fisticuffs  :-*

I do appreciate your comments, and often odd advice my good Sir.

The Fan! :)

Thank you very much for your kind words, the appreciation shown us every day is often far beyond what is really deserved! Please though, do not forget to appreciate those like the 8 thunder car driver(Mr Mulholland) as well, and all they do for us!

If you wear a hans or a helmet, id rather fight without it on. This was overdue to happen. We never intended it till he crashed our buddy for the 2nd time that weekend. For the record as somebody that considers Donny as one of his best friends he did offer to take it off and Trust me this not what hes like, give you anything to help.

I waited this out to make a response . You see earlier this season I posted a comment as to Dan Archibald's driving style . I had return comments from some of his family . I rest my case as to my previous concerns to his violent driving style . First with his race car and now with his fists . I have watched him in altercations all over this season . Walters got away with allot too in previous years . I enjoyed seeing Bentley give him a run for his money this year . A year prior , Baker finally showed him the wall . Let's face it , a race car is like a loaded gun . Use it the wrong way and someone will be hurt or even killed . Hope everyone has a good off season , stay safe and hope you all enjoy the racing next season . To all the racers out there , thanks for your weekly efforts and hard work . Thanks to your sponsors and Families too .
