Auto Clearing Motor Speedway
Results for Saturday, July 19 2014

The weather played games with us all evening but we still managed to get
a full race program in Saturday evening at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway.
The mini stocks, sportsman, Sask legends and bandoleros finished off
an extremely busy week of racing that started Tuesday with the late
models, street stocks and pro trucks warm things up for the NASCAR
Canadian Tire Series Velocity Prairie Thunder 250 on Wednesday.

In the Rev’d Up Performance Bandoleros, where the drivers range from 8
to 13 years old, the #22 of Kelsey Toth won the heat and the qualifier
and was well on her way to capturing the feature but a late last lap
pass by Jaxen Gervais in the #24 Commercial Sandblasting car gave Jaxen
the feature win.  Toth was second with the @33 of Jasmine Speidel coming
in third.

In the Kreepy Kritterz Pest Control Mini Stocks, Robin Boomsma had a
perfect night in the #95 Five Star Plumbing, Heating and Air
Conditioning Neon, winning the hear, the qualifier and the Kreepy
Kritterz feature.  Shawn Magee was second in the feature with the #4 St
Solo Prelude while the surprise of the race was 14 year old Cole Nixey
as he led most of the feature in the #23 33rd Street Auto Integra,
before Boomsma took over in the last couple of laps.

The night saw three different winners in the Midwest Combustion
Sportsman Division.  Matthew Shirley captured the heat race in the #12
Saskatoon Coop Grand Prix while the #07 of Casey Randall took the
Qualifier.  Jason Hankewich captured the Midwest Combustion feature flag
in the #94  Prairie Storm Construction Monte Carlo, narrowly beating out
the #46 Grand Prix of Dan Shirley.

In the Earthworks Sask Legends Series, the #2 of Kerry Neufeld picked up
the first heat, while the #82 of Cale Siemens took the second heat race.
Kerry Neufeld also took the first qualifier, while #21 Blake Erb
picked up the win in the second qualifier.

In the Earth Works Equipment Sask Legends Feature, Blake Erb was once
again triumphant, taking home the checkered flag in the #21 Novakoski
Quality Collision 1934 Ford Coupe.  A.J. Morrison was second in the #84
Norm's Interiors Ford couple and  #90 Danny Meier was third.

The Big Bore Drilling Super Trucks are back next weekend, along with the
FFUN Motor Group Pro Truck Division and a double feature night for the
Kreepy Kritterz Mini Stock Division.  Racing is Saturday, July 26.
Front Gates open at 5:00 pm with the first green flag at 6:05 pm.

Don’t miss the action!
