Peterborough October 4th

Let me tell you, I hate to bash on volunteers but if it takes them as long next week as it did last night ot get the cars in order after a yellow flag we may be there til Christmas. It took close to an hour to get 25 laps in. The cautions didn't help but it was pitiful to the point I had to yell ' What are you waiting for " after seeing the cars go round and round under caution for the nth time. The flagging was also brutal. A car is three lanes up on the track, chops down two lanes and hits the guy on the bottom and the guy on the bottom gets the EMPHATIC black flag point. It happenned at least half a dozen times. You would think these guys the flagmen, would get it a bit better than that. All that said, I still can't wait to pull into the parking lot Thursday night.

Almost forgot. Congrats to bake82 on the heat win.

Heres a little Vid of Bake82 and I runnin' the second heat after the restart, I initially bumped a guy in one and two and got sent to the back, shortly after the #69 had a brain anurism explode and cut across 3 lanes of traffic and took himself and the #18 of Jay Cutting out so it only left a few of us on the track, Jay managed to get back out for the balance of it.

whoever was leading the 89 i think was dumped out of first by the 16 as she tried to go under him...felt bad for him don't think she had enough on him to make the move there....she probably should have waited it out a bit more i think she had the quickest car at least from what i saw...can't recall who won but thats what i remember of it

Well the 16 didn't have any brakes at that point so maybe that's what contributed to it. A friend of mine was talking to her and that's what she told him.

Matt, Joe and Kenny,  Nice to meet you guys!  Matt good clean racing!  That track is definetly a fun little bowl. Alot different than I'm used to driving, thats for sure!

It was my first win ever in the heat, was definetly exciting! I just wish they would have let me do a victory lap, but atleast there is a picture of me holding the flag!!!

Gonna be a fun weekend coming up, I can't wait!!

Amanda was quicker but the 89 was mirror driving. She backed out of it numerous times when she had a run on him, only to be blocked. When she finally left the nose in there he still came down the track. Was she up far enough. Probably not but when you drive with your mirror that's what you get. Tim Burke in the 99 won his, I think, first ever feature.

fair enough i wouldn't know if he was mirror driving or not...i guess since i drive a roadrunner i always think everyone could just go around the outside....maybe i'm spoiled at sunset seeing stompin tom go around on the outside all the time....actually i saw him do it first race of the year at pete i think too...he ain't human though lol

lol Listen, there are things that Tom can do in a car that only others can dream of. Tom has talent and you can't deny that, whether you like him or not.
