B.A.R- I was not one of the ones to go down to the trailer.

As for the qualifying deal last year- that was fair game.  The rule states that ALL cars must take the green flag for the session to officially start.  By the time Andrew had got into the pits not all of the cars in that session had taken the green flag.  Coming into the pits to fix something has to be a reasonable reason.

And now this deal where Ranger and his posse go into Gibbons trailer to pick a fight
(

I wasn't at Gibbons trailer, but I can tell you this! You're really laying it on kind of thick aren't you B.A.R.? Were you at Gibbons trailer to witness all this?

And I ask you, what would you do, if you were going to win the race and this happened to you, knowing the fact you probably got bumped out of the championship race in the process?

And as for your words "posse", I know the 2 guys you speak of, one just had a car fall on him in Trois Rivieres, and has several cracked ribs and can hardly move. I really think those 2 guys, posse in your words, chased Andrew over and made sure Andrew didn't do anything stupid.

Okay already- I said my peace...almost....
Morgie you made a point about the qualifying deal...lets just say he got lucky on that one.
As for the other 2 deals I mentioned you did not reply- so you must agree, I hope.
Either way you were smart not to go to Gibbons trailer and you get a gold star for that one, and not just because I like you.

Auto my man... I was within ear shot of the deal... lets put it that way !!
Anyone going to break up a fight that has cracked ribs is obviousally suffering from other medical issue's...like brain damage for instance.
Who.. and why.. would the guy go over to Gibbons Trailer if he had broken ribs ???
Did he need the other side to match ???

Lets face it..your going over to Gibbons trailer to pick a fight...its not like you were going to confession or something !!
I liked your statement about the two guys were only going over to Gibbons trailer to make sure that Andrew didn't do something stupid.
They could have told Andrew before he even got out of his car that going over to Gibbons trailer was something stupid... ya think ??

As far as getting pissed about being spun when your going for a Championship, I would say that I have to agree with you on that one..BUT... Keep in mind that Ranger walled Gibbons when Peter was leading the race and by all means, winning that race would have meant just as much to Gibbons, seeing that he is stepping out for good after Kawartha..
To-Shay !!

I have seen allot of racers get pissed over on track deals and it usually ends up in a fight of some nature, and really that is what racing needs right now is a little ON TRACK getting even deals- just like the good old days, but after the fact and in the pits is just a cheap shot.   It doesn't matter anyways, because the only ones that are going to discuss this issue are all of us on here, and NASCAR would rather not here about it.
I think we can all agree on that !!

With the departure of , or at least the rumoured departure of some of the stars of the series after the next race, this coming weekend could possibly the best Cascar/NCaTS race there might be of all time. Congrats to all the teams over the past decade and more, it sure won't be the same without those of you who are not returning.

I feel the need to mention again, B.A.R. your facts aren't quite right....and I have to point out that if you weren't hiding behind a screen name, you wouldn't be such a jerk, now would you?

Wasn't it Ranger who spun Steckly 3 times in one race in '06*?  Or was it some other (former) open wheel driver?

* I'm pretty sure it was '06, and that it was Ranger's first race.

btw. Who's driving the 71 car?  Because it's nice to see my design still being used.

Again, I said my peace, and now onto something completely different.

Ace- if I have failed to see it- the way you saw it- then so be it.

My identity is none of your business, but I am a Team Member and value the series enough to make claims that are not always what you want to hear, but are the way I see them, and to me, my opinion counts.

Much like this site, it is your version against my version, and everyone else's version on this site.  Curious... Would that mean that if everyone didn't see it your way, then they as well automatically become Jerk's.
If so we should become an activist group and wear shirts that read, " Jerk's against Ace", a kind of rebellious club so to speak.

Call a Spade a Spade, but don't ever call the Joker, an Ace !!

Find some humor in the sport, and the Pitt falls that surround it will keep you a fan.

You now have my permission to cuss me to death....oust the swear words on here please.

Mister B.A.R:

I agree with the idea that opinions must be shared freely.  If someone develops an opinion that is based on fact, then it is valued.  If, however, the opinion stems from an assumtion or mis-information then it usually is not.

This is not a case where I saw one thing and you saw another.

ohh man.....

The sand started flying from the BAR storm that blew in here earlier...

So now I have to ask...who told you it was 2 crew members that went to the trailer...and to ATTACK Mr. Gibbons?  And Midgets too?  Was there cotton candy and ferris wheels in the infield as well??

Alright I will answer this then we are moving onto something else before we get warned.

I said Midgets as most people are when comparing them to Gibbons size.
I said 2 Guys and Ranger because that is what we saw and that can be backed up by Morgie who was there.
The word Attack was used to describe what went on inside that Trailer as they knew Gibbons was alone, getting out of his suit.

Was it a case of 2 of them trying to hold Gibbons so Ranger could throw a punch...not likely, but Ranger went there with intent and that is why his 2 Crewmen followed.
Protection is needed if your going to try and take Gibbons on, and maybe they should have considered taking the whole Team along.

The Ferris Wheel and Cotton Candy could be found in Tech Lane through out the weekend. They had a gauge setup to see if you were tall enough to ride the rides, and they had a guy guessing the cars weight which was followed up by actually weighting the car.
There were lot's of Clowns and even some Monkeys in the ring as well.

Good night Mr. Ace

I gotta ask were the templates done with the curvy mirrors?  I used to love watching the templates with the three quarter inch leeway.

Sorry, I actually cannot back that up, I am not sure how many crew members went down there.

I would say that getting even on the track is a heck of a lot worse of a cheap shot then in the pits. Having a couple thousand pounds of metal around you can give a guy a lot of false courage. Get even on track, now you both are out a bunch of $$$, plus anyone else that got caught up in your little temper tantrum. It's hard to hurt an innocent bystander by yelling at someone or throwing a punch, but we don't need to go around and start wrecking each other. That's a good way to kill racing real fast.
