CFS to Make Major Announcement Later Today
April 9, 2010 - CENTRE for Speed says it expects to make what it believes is the most significant announcement for the speedway in it's 15 year history, later today. "This coming announcement is the most significant one we have ever made in relation to stock car racing at our venue", said Tim Wile GM of the CENTRE. Wile went on to say that he expects there may be some interests who try to downplay the announcement similar to when CFS first introduced Pro Stock crate engines into the region several years ago. He believes however that, as with the engines time will prove this to be a boom for racing for the region.
