June 12th, 2011(Shediac, NB) -  Rookie prodogy Scott Hall of Sackville, NB piloted his number 98 "Four Fun" Division machine around the newly reconfigured oval here in Grand Barachois three times for victories on Sunday, giving him a perfect record on the day. Hall was never seriously challanged as he dominated all his races.  Justin MacDonald of Springhill, NS picked up a pair of seconds in the Four Fun heat and semi final while Wilfred Simon of the Bouctouche First Nation finished third in the heat and semi final' before claiming second place in the feature. Cody Bourque of Grand Barachois finished third in the feature to round out the podium finishes in this division.
   
In Mini Stock action, class rookie Scott Bourque picked up first place finishes in the Heat and semi final before getting a little schooling from class sophmore Julien LeBlanc in his 07 rocket machine in the feature.  LeBlanc took full advantage of a late race restart to jump ahead of Bourque on the outside, taking a lead in the last 5 laps and holding on to win the race.  Another class rookie, Stephane LeBlanc finished the feature in his new #20 ride.   

The Street Stock class put on a very entertaining afternoon with side by side battles between Tyler Rossiter of Hillsborough and Don Marcoux of Ste Marie de Kent all the way. Rossiter was victorious in both the Heat and Semi but was forced to accept second in the feature to Marcoux who edged out Rossiter at the line. James "Cooter" Smith of Moncton finished a tight third in all three events "knocking at the door" throughout the day.
   
Finally, Jamie Westin drove his #22 AOW Modified into victory Lane twice on Sunday, in his Heat and the semi Final. John Godfrey, captured the Feature and the first Heat of the day.

In other news, the newly revamped facility has been getting rave reviews.  "Fans have been very receptive to the new configuration. Many positive comments have come in through the track website and several fans have dropped up to the tower to express their satisfaction with the changes said GM and Promoter, Tim Wile

Racing resumes at the oval next Sunday at 2pm with all 5 divisions in Points Championship action including the return of the Super Sportsman for their second points race of the year.

Dominating Performances at Centre for Speed

Daniel Gautreau was second in the Heat and third in the Feature. Julian Leblanc finished third in the Heat but came on strong to capture the win in the Feature while Denis LeBlanc rounded out proceedings with a second in the semi final.
