Forgive me if I don't share the sentiment, Now I'm gonna have to bust my hump just to maybe be able to make it in time to see the ASA feature...forget about the Biederman race.

That sucks. I was looking forward to a good night's racing. Might have to find something else to do.  Who the h*** starts a race program at 5:30?

I have to agree with DB1 on this one.  I would rather they start the program at 5:30 and have it go until 10 or 11 than have them start it at 7:30 and have it go until 12 or 1.

I dunno. I don't really take issue with having the heats out of the way and such, but at least wait till 7 to start the features. I've rechecked my sched, and it looks like I might be able to squeak in just as the Biederman race is rolling out.

I've seen some crazy races, but I'd like to think they could have a 200 lapper and a 75 lapper done in 3 -3 1/2 hours.

Grr. Call me a grumpy old race fan that still doesn't understand what's the big deal about racing till midnight. I don't know what their kid policy is, but at 45/55 bucks a pop, how many kids are gonna be there anyway?

You can still buy tickets at the gate. There is a $10 extra charge though.

I can't see them turning anyone away, no matter how late you are. They won't sell out, so there will be plenty of seating. The more, the merrier.

called the track today, the lady there said they are selling as many tickets as they can.....but she also said to call the track office on either friday or early saturday because of the whole ordeal with the natives trying to block off all the bridges around hamilton and even trying to block the 401. just thought i would forewarn everyone before they get down there and find out for themselves.

I live in Cayuga. If I get a chance I'll drive over to the track on Friday after work and see if there are any issues with the roads or bridges (at least the bridge in Cayuga). I'll post my findings.

The native protest is planned for Friday, all will depend on how the officials handle it. I heard a native spokesman today claim on a radio talk show that the only way they are going to be treated fairly by the white man is at the point of a gun. I would hope this is what the minority think. These comments were downplayed by the more media savvy native leaders later today.  :o

just step hard on the gas pedel .it will feel like speedbumps.that is the best way to get them to understand..kind of stupid to block bridges or roads in protests anyways...
