Hey Guys.. As you all know the 2005 NASCAR Season is quickly approaching. Actually it is 13 Days until Race Day!!

Speedweeks kicks off this Saturday Night with the Budwieser Shootout.
On Sunday it will be the 'Daytona 500' Qualifying sessions. All Drivers have there eyes on getting the pole for this race.

This Year they have changed the name of the 'Gatorade 125's' to the 'Gatorade Dual Duels'.

The Craftsman Truck Series will run there first event of the 2005 Season on Friday February 18.

The Busch Series will take their turn on the track on Saturday February 19th.

And the 'Big Boys' will run the biggest race of the 2005 Season on Sunday February 20th.

Everyone is looking towards Dale Earnhardt Jr. for a repeat of his win in 2004. But will he suceed?

In my personal opinion I hope he doesnt win again this year. Yes I know he is one of the BIGGEST names in Nascar, but people have to quit thinking that he is going to be like his dad. Dale Earnhardt Sr. currently holds the record for most wins at Daytona International Speedway.
Dale Jr. may have the car to beat.. but I think that most of the race for him will be getting used to his new crew chief. Last Season he had a Crew Chief that had won at Daytona in previous years. This year he has a completely new Crew Chief, and Michael Waltrip has last seasons winning Crew Chief. So all in all I would like to see either Kasey Kahne or Kevin Harvick visit Victory Lane in Daytona.
