I guess no one noticed that Thompson and Steckly are registered in the nationwide race in Montreal along with Wheeler Boys,Trever Boys,D.j,Carpantier,Villineuve and Ron Fellows.

can someone explain why go through all the trouble to start and park?

do they even cover their expenses?

what if a giant wreck happened and a bunch of fast guys get taken out?  do they still park it?

seems like it wouldn't be very much fun.....

do they even bring a pit crew?

i don't get it?  someone tell me why  ???

Some of these guys rent the motors by the lap.  Unless you have someone to foot the bill for the whole race worth of laps, parking early makes more sense $$$ wise.  NASCAR will park you if you don't have a full crew at this level, from what I understand.  $31,400 something last year for JR's 43rd spot.
