I noticed someone with a camera had to be quick on their toes on the qualifying run, as one car drove right into the infield. :o

That might have been me. I don't remember when it was, but I had to scramble at one point because the #2 came roaring into the pits. I had my camera up for a few shots, took it down from my face and suddenly a car was coming right at me. In that fraction of a second I wasn't sure if the car was out of control or not but my brain yelled, "Run!!!!".

Post by: Danka on July 14, 2008, 11:28:19 PM: lol, it was a lucky guess then, I knew it wasn't Derek or Dave. Yeah, you were quick on your feet for sure... he made a last minute move and tried to keep it on the pit lane but overshot it a bit, and was headed towards you at the lamp post. phew!

Post by: amr_dmr on July 18, 2008, 10:50:19 PM: when i first saw the sizzler results, morgan was 21...the revised results now have him 14, first car one lap down and ahead of d lynch...not a bad finish for going 1 lap down early in the race
