Josh Wood wins OSS final at Cayuga - September 1, 2007

Josh Wood was the overall winner in the Ontario Sportsman Series final race of their inaugural season. Josh was sixth fastest in time trials and moved through the field and grabbed the lead midway through the first feature, but was passed by Steve Robblee late in the race and had to settle for the runner up spot.
In the second 50 lap feature the 66 car lined up 10th for the start and steadily moved through the field to 5th at the halfway point. A few laps later Josh was in second place, but unable to pass Mike Hrynuik who had been leading for most of the race.
The two second place finishes were more than enough to give Josh the overall win ahead of Mike Alguire.
Steve Robblee was declared the Ontario Sportsman Series Champion while the 66 Team finished third in the point standings. Josh and his team hope to take their momentum into next season and contend for the OSS Championship in 2008.
