If you have a new generation car with a race motor in it then you have a 150lb weight penalty.....the oo thunder car has had this all season why else would he be in second place......

Being a lap down in the one feature race he ran and not finishing that race may have something to do with being in second place.

i believe it is a new generation car with a built motor and not a crate motor will get the 150 lbs weight penalty! a new gen with a crate does not get a penalty! This is to try to get people to use the crate motor!

i wondered what the rule was for that..........i remember 3 or 4 years ago when they first brought that car out and steve was driving it, it was suppose to have a crate in it>>.but when we raced against him at the year end special at sunset it was a built motor and he smoked everyone>>>i thought all new gen were suppose to have crates in them?

The thunder car crate is a target master truck motor with a isky sl1 cam and different valve springs on the exhaust side. Also smokin joe, before this season you had to run a crate motor in a new gen.

no you should not have it   you guys would spend more time finding out how to make your car faster like 00 44 02 49 2 77
there is lots of information available
why should guys be penalized for learning how to make there car go fast that is why we all go there
there is a guy in Barrie that can make your car go as good as the rest of them
