I have a couple new tricks ill be trying for next season, depending on what car im driving. could be a nissan, could be a Honda.

My honda (87 d15) turns 8500 rpms and still pulls pretty good at that rpm. I've been told I'm either lieing and cheating since dyno tests show there's no power up there with stock engine, but those people won't put their money where their mouth is.

My prelude ran 8600 rpms at one point with a DX tranny, it pulled just as good as at 7000 rpms, and people say the same thing about my car it must be cheating.
