Thayne, if you want a tan, come out of the trailer between races.    Bring a lawn chair, and a lawnmor. It will feel just like a cottage. (Scooter will make loon noise for ya)  LOL  8) 8) 8)

For what it's worth, The Barrie Schedule has been reposted. For how long is anybody's guess.

Ok now that the entire race sched. has been re posted I have some Mon morn musings as it relates to any changes I see that have been made.. It appears as though that missing weekend (Sept 5th )has now been filled in and we will indeed be racing that weekend. So it did appear to be an oversight as someone had mentioned.. Sorry Thayne!!!LOL But at least you have one weekend off this year as Thunders are off Aug 15th when the TQ's are there.. (Although thats not one I would want to miss personally, as I mentioned that looks to be the best night of the year in my eyes).. Could be worse and you could still be racing 4cyl. as those guys dont have a night off the entire season again!!!lol I counted the LLM races and they appear at the track 17 times, and with a double feature on every night ( save for the season ender) that's a total of 33 features to qualify them for Nascar Whelen All American Series points with no rainouts..The only night LLM's dont race is when OSCAAR hits the track, so thats some pretty good forsight and planning there I feel. The one thing I'm a bit disappointed with is there doesnt really seem to be Mid Season championship races this year, and I've really looked forward to these extra distance races in the past. Now the Thunder Cars do have a 40 lapper on July 4th so I suppose I will now dub that the Mid Season race. But in the Pure Stocks division their 40 lapper is on June 6th (only the 4th race night) now that's pretty tough to really consider that a Mid Season being so early on, so in an ideal world I would of preferred to have that race on say July 11th or 18th when it made more sense to call it a true Mid Season race.. Nothing resembling a Mid Season for LLM at all, and what I would like to see there is Twin 40's to be run on the division sponsors (Rama Mocassin & Smoke night) Aug 1st. Now maybe I'm making a little much of this, but I think that the drivers would really push the limits in the past on the Mid Season nights just for the honor of being called Mid Season Champ for that particular season and it produced some great racing... Even if it isnt feasable to increase the purse for 40 lap races they could of went out and gotten an extra special trophy for these nights to show drivers they care and continue what has been a long standing BSW tradition... I know a few of the higher ups read this site so hope they might take some of these things into consideration.. After all cant hurt to have an opinion and I truly enjoy drumming up hype (and sometimes conroversey) as it relates to the BSW drivers!!LOL Also noticed that BARRIE MITSUBISHI is now the title sponsor for Pure Stocks, with DAVENPORT SUBARU now sponsoring KOH ( if i read that correctly on the website).. Wonder why that was done as the main Davenport car races in Pure Stocks?? Any thoughts there Suby Man??? Not that it makes a big deal as looks like most of the nights have sponsors, and all but one of the divisions does as well so things could indeed be alot worse... I'd be expecting a title sponsor for Thunder Cars in the coming weeks!! Perhaps St.Onge Recreation once again????? Just a side note has anyone heard anything definite on how many laps the LLM double features will be?? I had heard a 25 lapper followed buy a 35 lapper... I think 30-30 would really be ideal as sometimes simpler is better for fans to understand
