Bandit Motorsports Canadian Nationals and DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont –Thursday, July 28, 2016 – Martin Bélanger – One of the biggest events of the season will be run this coming Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway as the second race of the Canadian Nationals along with the DIRTcar Pro-Stock series as a complete race program sponsored by Westfront Construction.

A strong field of 32 cars showed up on the initial round of the Bandit Motorsports Canadian Nationals as Danny Johnson was the winner at the end of the 125-lap event over Erick Rudolph and Steve Bernard. The same quality field of cars is expected for this Sunday as a 125-lap race will be run. Several local runners such as Carey Terrance, Chris Raabe, Mario Clair, Brian McDonald and Lance Willix will want to be on the podium this Sunday.

The DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series will visit Cornwall Sunday with a 50-lap event, former track champion, Dave Bissonnette who is currently leading the points in the series in front of Jocelyn Roy, Stephane Lebrun, Rock Aubin and Marc Lalonde. Several invaders are expected to travel to Cornwall such as Jocelyn Chicoine, Robbie Speed, Dean Charbonneau, Steve Chaput and Gus Hollner will come and challenge local point’s leader in Aubin, Lebrun, George Renaud, CD Beauchamp and Ghislain Valade. More than 20 cars are expected to be attendance.

The Tracy Wheeler Storm Realty Sportsman will have a regular 25-lap event as both Polar Sound DJ Services Novice Sportsman and Mini-Stock will also run a complete program.

The pit gates will open at 3pm and costs will be 40$ in the pit area. General admission will open its doors at 4pm and costs will be $30 for adults, 15$ for seniors and only 2$ for 16 years old and younger. Time trials will start at 6:30pm for both Modifieds and Pro-Stock as the first heat will be run at 7pm.
