This past weekend at Sauble Speedway, Travis McLean continued learning and making progress as he posted a top-10 finish in the feature.
Through the qualifying heats, the rookie elected to start at the rear for both events, trying some new things on the car and working on improving his racing line to be as strong as he could for the feature later on that night.
Once the feature started, McLean ran clean throughout the event, battling hard en route to an eighth-place finish. The team walked away with smiles on their faces, pleased with the significant drop in lap times as the teenager continues to get better behind the wheel each week.
Travis McLean will be back on track at Sauble Speedway on July 22 in hopes of continuing to get better with each lap.
