Wally Wilson Picks Up Top-Five at Peterborough Speedway

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. --- Racing with the Outlaw Midgets on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway, Wally Wilson picked up his season-best finish.

Starting seventh in both of his heats, Wilson was able to work his way to the front to finish fourth and third.

After signing tons of autographs during intermission for the fans in attendance, Wilson would start 11th in the feature. He would make his way forward immediately, running fifth as of Lap 3. He remained there until late in the race, where he was able to pass Nigel Buttivant to score a season-best fourth-place finish.

Thanks to all the fans that came out during the autograph session, as well as Larry Wilson from Larry’s Small Engines for his help in sorting out the motor issues. We appreciate your support.

Wilson will be back behind the wheel of his No. 69 OSCAAR Modified on Friday, July 13 at Kawartha Speedway. It marks a big night of action as the modifieds will be joined by the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series, Bone Stocks, and the Ontario Legends Series as the track plays host to day one of the Canadian Legend Nationals. Notably, Wilson is coming off of a season-best 12th-place finish at Sunset Speedway.

He will then be driving his No. 69 Outlaw Midget on Saturday, July 14 at Sunset Speedway, hoping to build upon his success at Peterborough Speedway. It’s another night filled with action as 35-lap Bone Stock Invitational, Lucas Oil Can-Am T.Q. Midgets, Ontario Pro Challenge, and a Kids Tire Roll.

Wilson’s efforts are supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, and Wix Filters. Wally Wilson Racing is a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy.
