Silly boys, you must remember,
Second best is the first loser.
Find the lane that suits you best
But don't find the wall like all the rest.
So revv up those engines, loud and proud
Let them hear it at Tim Horton's in Stroud
C'mon Herbie, make us all cheer
And then The Prince will know...
THE END FOR HIM IS NEAR!

HAHAHA yes they write "Bash Poetry" during the winter to battle it out in the internets with their rivals.

Okay now I seriously need to get to work, I'll be late (AGAIN.)

they've tried it before the memory is clear, and I rember corectly FLAMES were seen in the front runners mirror, again he will come from the back of it all, as he does every week as I recall,  I like Barrie don't get me wrong but this is the place where Herb wins them all so try as you may with all your might but don't be surprised if Herb ends up out of sight!!! on a lap of his own that's where he'll be cruising with the checkers to his men of three!! yes he's on a roll can't you see and I know Herb he won't retreat, he'll fight to the end for his very crown but you'll have to wait till he's looking down to get your hands on it now, with his head held high and his team at his feet you'll have to bring your best cause Herbs sure hard to beat!!!

LOL These poems are awesome. Fun poetry writing, everybody! And Ashley - get to work! You're suppose to be a good little girl :)

Now....time for my own verse.....

Days have passed each of us,
Racing happening on each Saturday.
We've enjoyed our fun,
But now the competition is fierce.
On September 6, 2008,
The Valley will truly awaken.
Within the valley they'll be two sides,
Barrie and Sunset lookin for a prize.
Each has their leader,
Whom they call supreme.
Barrie has The Prince,
Whose ready to take on anything.
Sunset has The Cheque Casher,
Whose dominated most of the year.
Each with their own skill,
Each ready to rule the valley.
Though the important thing,
They're not the only ones.
There's also other names,
Who wish to call this battle their's.
Sunset has Smith, Kristi,
Mark, and Rockestar Rob.
Barrie has Ed, Doucette,
Darryl, and Flyin Frank.
So on to your seat,
As this'll be one night to never forget.

Okay - so I hate rhyming but it's got flow and style ;)

No doubt there is others and that we can't deny but you forgot Junior and he's got fire in his eyes, The Cheque Casher tops all down here with Adams and Skyler hot on his heels, Kristi will fight I have no doubt, but with The Deuce and the Prince she'll be somewhere about, and if the Eagle shows up he may cause some doubt,  the cream of the crop it surely is but I'd love to see Willie "Reyn" them all in!! for if he shows he will be fast but no one will touch Herb he'll still kick everyones ass!!

He's got wins this year,
Already taken you all down once.
He's got the style,
And he's got the drive.
Oh Herb will show you up,
And burn you to shame.
Blubber and brag,
Comment and continue on,
But it'll be settled on Saturday,
When the Cheque Casher will win :)

The prince has awoke from his nap, must have been dreaming aboutgoing down a lap, but when you are old you need the rest, to make sure you are ready for the best !

Everyone knows who I am I guess I work with the Cheque Casher as he is the best, I like twisting wrenches and usually pass most tests, with the Straight Shooter primed and the Prince enroute, if the Deuce and Willie show there will be some doubts, But ye have faith and don't you worry we'll twist a few wrenches and believe me Herb will be in a hurry, To get to the front as he always is, this is Herbs land he will forgive, if you waver and fall,  for he is the King of them all!  but if Junior is to come we'll surely get a show cause he's the only one I've seen give Herb the push push we gotta go!!  The Cheque Casher will be in Victory lane as he was the last time they tried to invade! yeah he'll take the cash and show them all that this is his place he'll just bitch slap that ugly right off your face!!!

Well all of this poetry has made me inspired thought I would throw my 2 cents into the fire:  My My with all of these poets
I wonder who really is going to SHOW IT
In 2 days from now the green flag will drop
And will it be the PRINCE or WALTERS or SOMEONE ELSE on TOP?

The stands will be packed as fans pay their money
TO the VICTOR the SPOILS and thats no lie Honey!
