LUCAS OIL CAN-AM MIDGETS HOLD ELECTIONS
The Lucas Oil Can-Am Midgets held their elections for the Officers and Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 seasons. Ken Lorenz returns as President for the seventh year. Wayne Gray was voted in as Vice-President for first time, moving from his Board of Directors position in 2012. Cindy Lorenz remained as Secretary and Yvonne Neely returned as Treasurer.
The Board of Directors will be David Balych, Todd Cresswell, Chris Holman, Tom Kyle and Larry McLennan.
Lorenz said "It is an honor to serve as the President of this Club. We provide some of the best open-wheel racing in Ontario but more than that, it's the members of this Club that make it like being with 'family' every weekend."
The Lucas Oil Can-Am Midgets now turn their attention to their 47th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 17th at the Best Western Cairn Croft Inn in Niagara Falls, ON. Rob Neely, the 2012 Lucas Oil Can-Am Midget Champion, will be celebrating with the other top drivers that evening and thanking the sponsors for all their help with this series. Lucas Oil, title sponsor of the Can-Am Midgets as well as Hoosier Tire/Bicknell Racing Products, Thomboys Powersports and Equipment, Lincoln Welders, Ralph Webbe and Colormark Ltd., Fire Out Fire Protection, Inside Track Motorsports News and Race Time Radio support the Can-Am Midgets in various ways. A Big 'Thank You' goes out to all of them.
