TFT continues with Vilarino and two new cars
« on: January 29, 2013, 04:49:04 AM »

BLOIS, France – The 2012 champion will defend his title in 2013! Ander Vilarino will spearhead the TFT team’s attack, and the squad will enter three cars in the EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series!

Ander Vilarino is favourite to double up. “I’m very motivated by the idea of winning the title again,” smiled the driver from San Sebastian (Spain). “NASCAR’s provided great support and the EURO-NASCAR’s made a big impact in Europe and in the USA. It’s very motivating to race in a fantastic championship that’ll continue expanding in the next few years. With the backing of a great team, TFT Banco-Santader, my aim’s clear – clinch a second title!”. The Spaniard will again share his seat with Eric Quntal who’s entered in the Open Division.

Tony Pereira is pleased to announce the entry of two more cars for the whole season.

#7 will be entrusted to 22-year-old Anthony Gandon who already has two seasons in motor racing under his belt. Last year he made people sit up and take notice by filling the runner-up spot in the Speed-Euroseries with TFT. He has been entered in two divisions, Elite and Open, and he will be gunning for the title in the latter.

Anthony Garbarino will drive the third car. The young Frenchman from the Var raced at Le Mans for the Nogaro-based team, and after a season’s apprenticeship he has high hopes like his boss. “To put it in a nutshell, the Elite, the Open and the Endurance Challenge, we want to win them all,” says Pereira sending a warning signal to his rivals. In addition, he is working on entering a fourth car!
