OPEN LATE MODEL – FRIDAY SEPT. 23, 2011 Pits Gates Open 3 p.m. Spectator Gates Open 6:30 p.m. Opening Ceremonies: 7:30 p.m. On Track Autograph Session: 7:45 p.m. Racing Starts at 8:15 p.m. Race: 100 laps with competition caution at lap 60. At this time teams will be allowed to take fuel, make adjustments and 1 tire (5 minute stop) Leader at lap 60 will roll double dice to determine the inversion for the last 40 laps. Leader will be paid as follows: Snake eyes $0, 3-6 $100 7-9 $200 10 $250 11 $300 12 $400. Rules: Any tires changed in competition must be flat (will be strictly enforced) penalty will be 1 lap per tire. All other rules will be the same as Sunset Open Late models current package. The cars (20) that registered on Aug. 21 will have a guarantee to be in the show. 26 to 28 cars will start. This will be discussed at the drivers meeting. Heats will have a max of 10 cars in each.
