Looks like it will be a jam packed night then. Feel for the competitors and staff, years past it took a good 3 hours to get in just 2 rounds of practice. Posted by: MarkDilley« on: April 19, 2015, 08:23:04 PM »Haven't had a lot of time on computer lately but just for the record time trials will be before the start time of the nights racing stands will be open to people but we will time trial and run some heats before opening ceremonies you have to understand that we have a lot of cars and it would be impossible to run all the qualifying from 6 oclock on we would be going home at 1 in the morning and that does not work for families at all so that will not be happening, I could lie and say I have it all figured out but it is impossible to figure everything out till we see how many cars we get, If I have to I will keep adjusting till I get it right that is all I can do.

However it doesn't change the fact that time trials are like watching paint dry. If they want to be NASCAR so bad, maybe they should do as NASCAR does and hold qualifying during the week. LOL. Plus the name of the game in heat races if you are points racing is not to crash, you take it easy and you make the feature. Take it easy in time trials and you are out of the feature. Its not crashing that you are worried about. Plug wire falls off - with two heats who cares if you finish last in one, if you are any good you'll make it back in the next. First 35 will start straight up fastest car on pole and so on down the line. Second 35 will start as a 14 car inversion of the Finish of the first 35 , 14th on pole and 1st will start 15th , 15 to 28 will start in spot finished in first 35. Which means they are sending the cars home who are outside of the 28 starting cars after qualifying? Will suck to be some people..
